Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be shown live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Former twice unified title holder Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
Despite these statements, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually recognized for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead targeted former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.

As both boxers engaged in the usual face-off, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually happening.
